Friedrich Rominger

Through many years of international management experience in the consumer electronics, IT and automotive industries, I have acquired a wealth of experience in several areas.

These are among others:

  • Many years of experience in building and managing global and large organizations

  • 4 years Vice President Engineering, BDT-AG, IT Industry, 160 engineers, 3 locations

  • 17 years at Thomson Consumer Electronics, several management functions, 2 times delegate in USA

Friedrich led the global engineering force for our Continental business area. We also served together on the leadership board of the business area. Friedrich managed thousands of engineers with necessarily diverse skills and responsibilities at several development centers throughout the world. Yet, somehow, despite their many differences (and time zones and distance!), Friedrich was able to bring them together as one team!

I had the good fortunate to participate in several location visits with Friedrich and meet many of his leadership teams. Friedrich was clearly able to source quality external hires as well as to develop and grow internal talents for the various skill groups and leadership roles throughout those teams.
